Cast a write-in vote and put this blogger atop the Pinnacle of Berks!

It's Monday morning and time for some frivolity.
So head on over to your favorite newspaper's Web site and cast a write-in vote for, ahem, yours truly to reside with John Updike, Keith Haring and Jim Steranko atop the Pinnacle of Berks for artists and writers.
I know, I know, the geniuses who created this poll will say bloggers are ineligible because their legend doesn't transcend the boundaries of Berks. But what those small-minded people do not realize is that we have a book coming out in a couple weeks, "The Secret World of Jon & Kate," a tell-all, behind-the-scenes glimpse at the stupidest story in the history of the universe, one that involves Berks County's first family, the Gosselins, that is certainly destined for best-sellerdom. It will sell more copies in 2010 than anything by John Updike. It's even destined to be a major motion picture. Says so right on the cover. What more bona fides do you need?

No offense to your book or writing skill, as I am a sucker for a piece of tabloid gossip as much as the next guy (and some would say the next woman too). I have to say though...what does this say for our society? The fact that you are in fact CORRECT that yes, this will probably sell more copied than anything Updike ever wrote is a statement to the interest of our people. Propers though on capitalizing on it. I can't blame you there.
I, for one, can't wait for this book. It's past time for these 2 shysters to get their due.

Well Al - thank goodness I was hoping it was either you or David Zurawik (Z on tv) from the Baltimore Sun FINALLY breaking a tell-all. And this DOES have all these people with NOTARIZED sworn statements since you KNOW they (J&K, TLC, Figure8 Films) will try to discredit the hell outta ya!

Please make sure you point how the kids DIDN'T receive any money until March 2010 - post the PA Labor Board's supposed "investigation"....those poor kids. Nothing more than a modern day Dionne Quintuplets!

I don't usually go for tell all's but I would in this case. Whoever used the word grifter has it right. Those two can't possibly for real, can they?
Do you suppose anyone voted for Kate Gosselin? She is a writer after all (I guess if quoting the Bible and publishing photos of your kids counts as writing).

Write the book and you will never have to work another day in your life. These people have gotten by with too much for too long. It will fly from the shelf!

There's a right way and a wrong way to write a book like this. I hope Al doesn't leave an avenue open for Kate to blame everything on Jon again. Reading a few hours worth of scandalous secrets won't be worth it to me if it ends up making Kate more famous.

Some questions as a reader I would have:
1. How much time did Khate Gosselin spend on the road promoting the TLC brand Jon & Khate plus 8"
2. Why so much back n forth like a yo yo on Jon? He flips & flops more than a circus acrobat?
3. How much time was really spent filming these children?
4. Khate always said "The show is our life our life is the show"
Boy, I could go on and on. When you have a release & order date enquiring minds want to know to help spread the word.

I would like to know:
When EXACTLY did Steve the bodyguard get hired? Does he have a contract? When does it expire?
Why did Kate insist Jon video tape her before they even had kids? If it's about memories...why are the videos mostly of Kate not Jon?
Is there any audio or video of Kate and Steve in unguarded moments?
What do the nurses that worked with her BEFORE she had kids have to say about her.
High school Friends? Did Kate babysit when she was a teen?
Why did she insist on multiples? She had a choice in how many embryos to implant....why so many. At least SEVEN were used, or did they use even MORE? Who paid for the procedure?
How did she feel about her father growing up.
Hope you interview plenty of old boy friends...
Seems these kids were a planned ticket to fame from day one.
This really irks me. They did NOT do IVF, which is what Octomom did and have embryos implanted. They did IUI where she took medication to stimulate her ovaries. I really wish people would get this right.
